A total of 163 peasants members of Agrarian Reform in the northern region were benefiting from the delivery of their respective title, the Dominican Agrarian Institute (IAD).
The report emanated from that institution official indicates that the agricultural farmers in agricultural projects located in Mao, Santiago, Puerto Plata and Dajabón were evaluated by the authorities to determine the relevance of the final qualification as owners of the land they occupy.
Among the beneficiaries of the certification are the farmers of agricultural projects Batey Geneva, in Sabaneta de Yásica, as well as those of La Isabela, Puerto Plata, where tens of producers may use the value of their properties to manage credit directly with any entity bank in the country.
The other agricultural projects involved in the formal qualifications are the project "PYN" under the Yaque del Norte and Las Matas de Santa Cruz, which wrapped more than 6 thousand tasks of land suitable for cultivation of rice, bananas, cassava, sweet potato, and other vegetables whose consumption is massive in the entire region.

SOSUA MAINTAINED CALM, MERCHANTS OPEN ITS DOORS.
This morning the town of Sosúa looks completely calm, business as a small grocery stores remain open and teaching what is normally taught in private schools in the municipality.
The lyceum Gregorio Luperon opened recently in the area of Los Charamicos of Sosúa is not working, as we approach the Director consulted there, Lic. Rafael Peguero and informed us that this does not support the strike but it coincided with a date that had planned to teach classes on the use of computers to teachers and for this reason they are all grouped in a hall ready for such purposes.
The semi-desolate streets, traffic were significantly reduced and there is a strong police and military patrolling the main intersections of the city. So far it has not been reported any incident related to unemployment.

When asked "Which of the candidates you like the most for the presidency?" People from Santo Domingo responded: 44.01 percent in favor of Guzman; 33.9 percent Balaguer; 8.11 percent by Lora; 0.64 by Jaime Manuel Fernandez; 0.42% by Delmonte Urraca and Lajara Burgos. The abstention would be minimal.
He said that public opinion polls were saying nonsense, trying to subtract validity to the revelation and said that one company offered a survey with results in his favor of 25 thousand pesos. Sosua and Cabarete, perfect combination of welfare

Everything revolves around the six miles of Playa Cabarete. Here you will find a youth international environment that enjoys relaxing in the sun as well as enjoying playing beach volleyball or celebrating together at night in bars on the beach.

The president of the National Association of Hotels and Restaurants (Asonahores) insisted that the Government create the conditions for the industry will continue and be competitive, including real exchange rate, and argues that the overvaluation of the currency and taxes are a threat to the competitiveness of the industry "no fireplace."
Luis Lopez stated that the Dominican hoteliers aspire to establish a fiscal pact with the Government with a horizon to the year 2020, which should embody the recognition of tourism as an export activity. The leader hotelier stressed the impetus to tourism areas from the Dominican government and the Ministry of Tourism and highlighted the coincidence between the private and public sectors, in the spirit and letter of the National Plan for Systemic Competitiveness.
He explained that tourists travelling to the Dominican Republic are beginning to pay taxes since it is mounted on the aircraft until they return to their country of origin. He cited that in 2006, the sector contributed more than RD$25 billion, a figure considered incomplete because many aspects are almost impossible to quantify. "To get an idea of how the tax burden has increased, in the year two thousand and four, the Government received 119 dollars per tourist, in two thousand five that rose to 159 dollars, for an increase of thirty-four percent, and last year reached 191 dollars, for an increase of twenty percent. Soon will begin the operation of the new Dominican Air line
The preparations for the operation entry of the Air Dominicana, the national airline that starting in May, with flights to and from the United States, Mexico and South America, continuing with the schedule.

The treasure includes hundreds of silver and gold coins, and china ceramics; according to the company Marine Explorations Inc. who finances the submarine expedition that will start this week from Miami (Florida) heading to the Caribbean reef. The month of February culminates with great success, finishes with a traditional military parade.

The parade marched members of the different military bodies of the Armed Forces and the National Police, wearing modern equipment which they have been endowed, as well as the display of helicopters and planes. Then began the ceremony of the exhibition with which Trabuco Ramon Matias Mella gave the “trabucazo” of Independence on February 27, 1844. Faced with the presidential dais paraded military commands of the army and the Dominican Air Force, Navy, the Task Force Quiet City, the Corps Specialized Border Security, the National Police, the Fire Department, among others. One of the most parades was applauded by members of the new Corps Specialized Security Metro (CESMET). The activity ended at 6:30P.M.in the afternoon.

Sosua celebrates opening of the new school Gregorio Luperon.
After several years of persistent hopes finally was finished the old school of Gina in Sosua, now opened under the name of Liceo Gregorio Luperon. The State Secretary for Education Alejandrina German chaired the event of this masterful hope that the people of Sosua both expected and that finally became a reality, also was present Trustee of the same Municipality Vladimir Cespedes.
The joy was contagious for the students because for many years they have been longing to see completed their second home, but did not expect that things would be so shocking in the sense of the structure of the new campus, with 19 classrooms, multipurpose area, virtual room, library, classroom teachers, stadium, playground, among other details that generate the convenience of deserving students.
The State Secretary for Education expressed faith in the progress of the students of the Dominican Republic, and the President Leonel Fernández all seen that with the great technological advances and educational advancement of our country can not be doubted that we are going forward.

Indotel will install within sixty days free Wi-Fi Internet service in Sosua
The president of the Dominican Institute of Telecommunications (Indotel), announced here the installation of a modern Wi-Fi network that will provide free Internet service to the residents of this tourist area north of the country. Dr. Jose Rafael Vargas made the announcement to leave this county opened in modern courtroom knowledge of 15 computers in the public library Paul Harris, with the backing of the city counsel and the local Rotary Club and community entities.

The Bride of the Atlantic is known for its beauty, but of course the beauty that we must keep that way, because then the admiration remains.
Sosua is known for its beautiful beaches, varied fun, happy people, good clubs, excellent structures, especially with a huge real estate appropriate places to live, which make tourists feel better than at home.
That is the main reason that the authorities decided to rebuild our lighted streets, to make a bit more special to our tourist town of Sosua.
