Soon will begin the operation of the new Dominican Air line

The preparations for the operation entry of the Air Dominicana, the national airline that starting in May, with flights to and from the United States, Mexico and South America, continuing with the schedule.

This aircraft will be inspected by technicians of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (IDAC) and his arrival in Dominican soil is scheduled for next April 23. It is estimated that the second aircraft was incorporated between mid or late May. The first of two Boeing 737 aircraft that constitute the initial flight of Air Dominicana, is now in a process of technical revisions in a specialized center of Europe and there will be test flights from 24 to 30 of April.

The operations of the national airline will be, in principle, from Punta Cana's International Airport, until extend their operations to various markets in the world. Sanguino Ignacio Mora, general manager of Air Dominicana, explained that at the outset the fleet will be composed of 14 Dominican pilots and two Spanish, who are being trained to operate the aircraft.

He explained that they receive training in Santo Domingo, in charge of the company Aerojet, 30 cabin crew, 29 of them Dominicans, while three inspectors and three IDAC maintenance technicians receive at Palma de Mallorca, Spain, a course on the Boeing 737 given by the signing Lufthansa.
