Dominican Republic Celebrates International Book Fair and here comes the Merengue Festival.

Dominican Republic is an island full of attractions that always produces entertaining, educate and promote our taste. During this season we are celebrating the XI International Book Fair Santo Domingo 2008, which is open to the public exposure of thousands of volumes by authors from almost every continent, mainly Latin Americans and the Caribbean.

This year's event is dedicated to the historian Emilio Rodriguez Demorizi and there are 28 nations invited are forming the association of Caribbean States.
