INFOTEP Celebrates Exhibitions in Sosua

Tourism in the Dominican Republic increased by 9.78 percent in May

The arrival of international tourists to the Dominican Republic grew by 9.78 percent last May compared with the same period of 2007, reported today by the local Ministry of Tourism. Tourism provides changes in density parameters for golf courses and undeveloped areas, in the Dominican Republic

The Tourism Secretariat (Sectur) issued Resolution 01-2008, amending the parameters of population density applicable to golf courses and undeveloped areas of national territory, such as mangroves and swamps.

In its first section, the measure provides that "in projects with golf courses and hotels will apply the gross population density in the area, the area where establishing the hotel development, without considering the area's golf course, for density purpose.”

Dominican Republic will have Strategic Development Plan

The Law on Registration real estate, property titles and their legal influence

In accordance with Article 91 of Law 108.05, ID numbers on the Register, a certificate is the official document issued and guaranteed by the Dominican State, which proves the existence of a property right and their ownership.

Flights from Santo Domingo to Puerto Rico for the first time in 15 years
