The muzzles of Montecristi, Dominican Republic natural wonder.

The muzzle of Montecristi is a natural wonder that rises as a lookout and guardian of the ancient city, founded by Nicolas de Ovando, with the name of San Fernando de Montecristi, in honor of King Ferdinand the Catholic, in the north. Mount currency to be from afar, as you approach the sea, has reddish sand beaches and a rugged landscape and unique as any other on the island.

Since the nose is impressive dominates the bay, with the keys, called "Seven Brothers". It is also equipped with a system of coastal lagoons. This National Park with subtropical dry forest vegetation, abundant and diverse wildlife, is undoubtedly a happy place, within our portentous land, listed by many naturalists, amazed by its variety and beauty as a continent in miniature.

The magic of Montecristi goes back to the past, as it was the place where those poor “náufragos” returned, the pilot unknown that came from distant lands and very ill, was greeted at home by Mariner Don Christopher, who at the time lived in Porto Santo in Madeira. Another major witness at the time, Fray Bartolome de las Casas, said that it appeared that Columbus had that very guarded, as if all that adventure was a great secret and only he had the key.

Admiral knew of the existence of a hill north of the land they were on their way, with a distinctive profile as that of a camel cast, which called Monte Christi, which was seen from afar and was twenty leagues. Some gold mines.

You can be able to think that this wonderful place with its landscape would be at his feet as often as you like?
And there is no reason to miss such a spectacle, you just come to the Dominican Republic the next step would be to contact us and we will do responsible for you to feel at home and better than a King for the rest of their days.
