Caribbean Series in the Dominican Republic.

The feline’s quisqueyanos became the first franchise to win a crown in the Caribbean Series, where the host country had two representations to and without being monarchs. Los Tigres del Licey, after a sad 100 anniversary celebration of its regular Dominican baseball campaign, managed to get his best consolation as "special guests" to the Caribbean Series 50 and spoil the party for their guests, double national champions, who failed in their bid to retain the scepter of the contest.

Licey expanded its margin proclamations in the classic Caribbean and raised his total to 10, most in the history of the so-called small Caribbean World Series, when imposed on the Eagles, monarchs and quisqueyanos at home, party culminating with bulletin boards 8 by 2 runs, spoiling their quest to retain the scepter in her own home.

Ramon Ortiz, in relay, returned to practice on a large domain cibaeños, who merely acting as a relay four unstoppable from the fourth chapter until the eighth, with the crowning triumph for your club and you take the glory of becoming Most Valuable Player and Pitcher law Star Award.

In addition to the great work of Ortiz, Licey got a strong endorsement of its offensive that ended with 15 unstoppable on pitches of the Eagles, which collapsed early, allowing four entries in the fourth inning, which marked difference, breaking a tie 2 -2. And the large number of tourists who visited our country during the Caribbean World Series, however, Dominicans came home. So winning the Eagles or the Licey is the triumph of Dominicans.
