The authorities are engaged to asphalt the streets in Sosua.
The Bride of the Atlantic is known for its beauty, but of course the beauty that we must keep that way, because then the admiration remains.
Sosua is known for its beautiful beaches, varied fun, happy people, good clubs, excellent structures, especially with a huge real estate appropriate places to live, which make tourists feel better than at home.
That is the main reason that the authorities decided to rebuild our lighted streets, to make a bit more special to our tourist town of Sosua. Since the month of January entered are notorious efforts to asphalt the streets of Sosua. At the same time they are signalizing the streets to allow better access for the traffic.
Another very important detail is the strategy for the traffic to be easier. Among the streets being asphalted we can mention the figures that are; street Pedro Clisante (Street where Vico Real Estate office is located), the street Alejo Martinez, Dr Rossen Street, and others.
We hope that the end will not be delayed because it is a source of joy and pride for the people of Sosua listen to tourists express their feelings of satisfaction at seeing a rejuvenated and clean Sosua, which would be a publicity machine for this tourist area of Puerto Plata Dominican Republic.

Well, don't know much about roads being asphalted. Haven't had a chance to witness it, although I live on Pedro Clisante Street.
As for their embarrassing decision to change the directions of one-way streets all I can say is that it's illogical and made for people to suffer. Now to get anywhere you want, you have to spend twice the time and gasoline! Especially for those who live and have their offices on Pedro Clisante Street.
Moreover, instead of trying to solve the eternal problem of Sosua with lack of parking places, they have reduced the number of existing parking places!People have to park their cars alongside the road now, and as a result where 10 cars could fit in some two weeks earlier, now you see only 5!
This "improvement" turns out to be a huge disappointment for those who live in Sosua.
