Indotel will install within sixty days free Wi-Fi Internet service in Sosua
The president of the Dominican Institute of Telecommunications (Indotel), announced here the installation of a modern Wi-Fi network that will provide free Internet service to the residents of this tourist area north of the country. Dr. Jose Rafael Vargas made the announcement to leave this county opened in modern courtroom knowledge of 15 computers in the public library Paul Harris, with the backing of the city counsel and the local Rotary Club and community entities.
"We have assumed the commitment to establish a Wi-Fi network in the community of Sosua," said the official, adding also that "this implies free Internet for all".

Immediately instructed the manager of the Development Fund for Telecommunications (FDT-INDOTEL), engineer Oscar Melgen, to commence work so that this wireless network is opened within sixty days. Dr. Vargas opened five centers for training in information technology (ITC) and digital rooms during a tour conducted by the community of Los Hidalgos, the tourist town of Puerto Plata and township Sosúa.
