How to have fun in Sosúa and cabarete?
That's very easy, because on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, are the people of Sosua. It’s easy to get to it just after a short journey between beaches and mountains from the town of Puerto Plata. The road is in good condition and the distance is about 25 km east. Village located 15 km east of the International Airport and 25 kilometers from Puerto Plata, was founded in 1938 by 500 Jewish settlers.
The town of Sosua is highlighted throughout the island for its dairy products and meat. In Sosua are several international restaurants, cafeterias, schools, German butchers and bakeries, newspapers and broadcasts in German, English and French. The old town of Sosua is called Charamicos, there you will still find life original Dominicans and you can listen to our music: merengue, bachata and salsa. The area with more tourists is El Batey, where there is nightlife with different forms of entertainment.
We invite you to have your own place of entertainment in Sosúa and in the Dominican Republic. Vico Real Estate offers from small villas to luxurious homes on the beach, apartments, farms, solar, hotels and other business opportunities. We have prepared a selected group of buildings to offer our customers, based on 10 years of experience in the world real estate on the north coast of the Dominican Republic.
Cabarete is internationally known for its exceptional conditions for windsurfing. There are several schools of Windsurfing active throughout the year. Other than windsurfing, Cabarete is notable for its tourism and adventure sports.
